Track only specific form on the page

Hello All,

We have a case where we placed the callrail script on a page having multiple forms. Although, we don’t want callrail to track of those forms but only the specific form on the page. Can you tell me what to do in order to achieve this result?

Thank you,

Hi Naresh - Thanks for posting your question! You could ignore certain fields, but to offer the best advice I’d need to take a look at the actual page you’re referring to. Are you able to share a link or screenshots?

@kate, thanks for your response.

Here is the page you can test:

You will see an orange color shortview (Procedure Spotlight - The reshape balloon). Just click on that and it will expand to show the form. This form is what should be captured by the callrail script. The rest of the forms on the page should not be captured by callrail.

Currently we have a local copy of callrail script which is modified to capture only the required form (using form id) and rest of the forms are ignored.

So, what is the best way to do this if we use callrail unmodified script directly from callrail server?

Thanks, Naresh

Hi Naresh - I apologize for the delay in getting back to you about this. Our support engineer confirmed that you can add the attribute data-cr-no-capture to the forms you don’t want to capture. There is a blurb on how to add it at the end of this API documentation on Form Submissions.

Please let me know if this helps!

Hi Kate,

Thanks for your response, this is really helpful thing to know.

Although, I guess that callrail should mention this thing in the documentation of the forms (not just in the API documentation) over here: This would be quite helpful.

You can mark this topic as completed now.

Thanks, Naresh

Thanks for the feedback! I’ll see what we can do about getting this added to our support documentation as well :grinning:
