We are pleased to share a couple of important updates to CallRail form tracking . We have implemented rules to automatically detect duplicate form submissions and automatically exclude non-lead form submissions.
CallRaill will now automatically detect duplicate submissions from the same session ID. On the Form Submissions, you will now see a duplicates icon.
This will lead to a new page that shows any duplicate submissions associated with the valid submission. From here you can either:
- Remove a submission from duplicates
- Delete a duplicate submission
Removing a submission from duplicates will add the form submission back to the list on the Form Submissions page.
By default, CallRail will no longer record a form submission in the Form Tracking if it does not include a name, phone number, or email address. This includes search queries and inventory / event lookups on your website.
These details will be included as a Web Session event on the timeline if there is a session ID associated.
