New Feature: CallRail's Revamped HubSpot Integration


We just rolled out some major changes to our HubSpot integration! As you may (or may not) already know, HubSpot is an inbound marketing and sales platform that helps companies attract visitors, convert leads, and close customers.

Hubspot is great at tracking the online activity of your leads and customers, and CallRail’s seamless integration can help you discover which of your HubSpot campaigns are driving phone calls and text messages, plus how those leads convert into sales. Our integration with HubSpot will automatically create leads from phone calls and text messages, or add activities to existing contacts.

So what’s changed with the new version of our integration?

  • Our new integration utilizes HubSpot’s Engagement API, meaning phone calls are now sent as call engagements instead of forms. This lets us send phone call recording directly into HubSpot using their native call recording player.

  • We can now create leads without email addresses! This was one of the biggest requests we heard from CallRail customers, and one we’re happy to deliver on.

  • We’ve added a new Call Outcome metric to phone calls inside of HubSpot. Calls will now either be marked as Connected, No Answer, or Left Voicemail if you’re utilizing CallRail’s voicemail feature.

  • We’re sending three new data points to the Contact Properties if you’re utilizing keyword level tracking - GCLID, PPC keywords, and landing page. These properties can be used to trigger HubSpot workflows or in your reports.

  • If you’ve got the HubSpot Reporting Add-on, you can take advantage of HubSpot’s custom engagements reports.
