As more and more of our customers use CallRail to manage multiple client accounts, we’re working hard to make our product faster and easier to operate for the high-volume user. We’re focusing many of our efforts on Account Center–the area designed specifically to streamline multi-client management–including several new initiatives that will save time and speed up workflow.
Creating a New Account
The one-size-fits-all approach doesn’t work when you’re managing multiple clients. Each client has its own unique needs, and each new account should reflect those needs. As such, we’re pleased to introduce two new features, Plan Selection and Add On Selection, that allow you to customize new accounts as you create them. From now on, when you create a new CallRail Account within Account Center, you can choose the pricing plan and add on features that make the most sense for your client, right off the bat.
Next up: billing. We surveyed current Account Center users and found that 50% of marketing agencies set up billing immediately after creating a new account. To reduce steps and save time, we’ve added two billing options during account creation. As you create a new account, you’ll have the option to select a previously used card as payment method, or you can add your client’s billing information right away. If you don’t have the billing information on hand, you can skip this step and enter it later. Like all of our accounts, the new account will get a 14-day free trial. After the 14-day trial, you’ll get a reminder if you skipped the billing step.

As we continue to expand the offerings in Account Center, we have created a new user role called Executive Administrator. The Executive Administrator has administrative power over multiple accounts that are linked together via Account Center.
Executive Administrators can now create multiple users at one time, and apply those users to existing Accounts. They can also edit or delete any user associated with any of the Accounts that are connected via Account Center. This makes changing a user’s permissions across multiple accounts an easy, one step process.
